Franchisee Profile - Jeremy Kline

Jeremy Kline, a recent Burger King Franchisee and former executive for Burger King corporate, is focused on revitalizing 16 restaurants in the Salt Lake City market by investing in operations, rebuilding teams, and creating new jobs in the community at Burger King.
Jeremy’s career in the quick service restaurant industry began at age 15, when he started working in restaurants and learning the fundamentals of the business. Over nearly three decades, he built his experience across a variety of leadership roles, eventually joining Burger King corporate in 2019 and working his way to become the Director of Franchising. In that role, he worked closely with Franchisees across the system, gaining a deep understanding of what drives success at the restaurant level.
After years of supporting operators from a corporate perspective, Jeremy Kline made the decision to become an owner himself. For him, the opportunity is deeply personal. Growing up in Pennsylvania, Burger King was a regular part of his life, and he has always had a strong connection to the brand, even more so after connecting with Franchisees, Team Members, and the leadership team. Jeremy says, “that experience ultimately led me back to where I love to be, working inside the restaurant daily, focused on rebuilding teams and improving consistency across my locations.”
Since acquiring the restaurants, Jeremy has prioritized stabilizing operations and investing in people. Across the portfolio, he plans to hire between five and eight team members per location, bringing an estimated 80 to 120 new jobs to the Salt Lake City area. He is also addressing needed repairs and implementing operational improvements, with larger remodels planned within the next 18 months to support the brand’s goal of modernizing the BK system across the U.S.
A key part of Jeremy’s approach is being present in the restaurant and leading by example. He takes a hands-on role in day-to-day operations, working alongside his teams to identify opportunities, and create a stronger foundation for long-term success.
For Jeremy, the most rewarding part of this next chapter is seeing progress take shape inside the restaurants. From hiring new team members to improving operations and investing in the physical space, he is focused on creating an environment where both team members and Guests can have a better experience every day.
