Restaurant General Manager Profile - Christopher Furman

Restaurant General Managers (RGMs) are the backbone of our business, tirelessly managing back-of-house operations, empowering their teams, and delivering exceptional experiences to Guests every day.

Christian Furman’s journey with Burger King began nearly a decade ago as a Team Member. His passion for the brand and commitment to his team quickly stood out, earning him promotions as an hourly shift coordinator, an assistant manager, and now an RGM.

Having worked across multiple Burger King locations in Miami, Christian now leads the team at the location in Brickell, a high traffic neighborhood in Miami. When Christian took over as RGM, he knew it would be a challenge, especially since the location had new owners and was transitioning to 24 hours of operations. He embraced the opportunity head-on with enthusiasm and a clear vision of success.

Managing a team of 48, Christian attributes his success to fostering a positive culture with his team, staying organized, and being flexible with scheduling. Every shift, he ensures the team huddles to align on goals, focus points, and set a positive tone for the hours ahead. He also takes time to train his team on limited time offers (LTOs) ahead of time, and places emphasis on hiring individuals who are driven and align with the company’s culture.

Christian’s leadership and dedication were recently recognized at the Dream Big Awards, an annual award ceremony hosted by our parent company, Restaurant Brands International (RBI), where outstanding individuals who exemplify RBI values are celebrated. His journey at BK is a testament to the power of hard work and commitment.
